My birthday...probably my most favourite day on the calendar actually.
today was it. although legally i am considered a year older im starting to wonder if officially being older means anything.i cant see any real visible wrinkles, i dont think im turning cynical and i dont feel any smarter or any more physically advanced from yesterday. so i wonder what marks me as a year older-does purely knowing that fact make me more mature or seem older.i dunno something to ponder when im bored....
what i really want to blog about is how great my day was thanks to some very special people. My Friends!!
You guys rock!
my mate millie made a gorgeous hand made and decorated card and audrey and casey made an awesome collage of photos of us- framed and all! and if thats not enough they even went to the trouble of stealing the frame for art class (sneaky sneaky) lol
Thanks guys for an awesome day!!

"F" is for Friends!
Ahhh Mes Amis...
everyday i am constantly wowed by how great my friends are.
no really, im not making this up!
truth!
ok so we have our little discrepancies and disagreements but really im blessed to have the friends i have.
we have been through so much together.
deaths, hard times, good times, laughs, tears, triumphs, failures, breakups, everything you can imagine and we are all the closer for it.
I just want the world to know that my mates are amazing!
"if looking back hurts, and looking forward scares you, then look beside you and i will always be here for you"

A Beautiful Quote
The Pecking Order
Is it little man syndrome?
It is Ego?
Is it insecurity?
What is it the cause of the local towns pecking order?
It is like ripple effect.
The biggest cities start it.
Melbourne thinks its better than Ballarat.Ballarat thinks its better than Warrnambool.Warrnambool thinks its better than Hamilton.Hamilton thinks its better than Portland.Portland thinks its better than Heywood and Heywood thinks its better than my town. no doubt my town thinks its better than others too.I don't really get it.
It just mystifies me.
I dont know really know what can be done about it either.
how do you stop other towns picking on others?
i dont want to sound pessimistic but seriously can anything really be done about?
i just find it a little strange thats all.
its almost humorous really, because one town is big-noting itself but being slammed by some other bigger town.
i wonder if something can be done?
anyone got any suggestions?

Showies
so i love horses and i love competing but if there is something horsewize i dont understand its shows and showies.getting up at six am to parade around in a ring and if you have the prettiest horse and a shiniest gear you win a 50 cent ribbon,i dont get it, sorry.
no im not talking about everyone who competes at shows (some showies are lovely people) but come on some of them are just so pathetic and rude argh they just get up my goat!
they can just be so petty complaining bout the craziest and the smallest things...not happened whipped cream to go with the fruit salad only having thickened cream , just not good enough.
then they complain about everything!can't they see that we are working our arses off to run a good and functional show.if by chance they are complaining about something in particular then chances are that we are already working to fix it anyways.
some times i just feel like telling them to grow up, a fifty cent ribbon is not the end of the world even though it sometimes feels like it.
for goodness sakes!
thank you to all those showies who are really helful anf friendly!love you guys!

the banana test
There is a very, very tall coconut tree and there are 4
animals,
a Lion, a Chimpanzee, a Giraffe, and a Squirrel, who
pass by.
They decide to compete to see who is the fastest to get
a banana off the tree.
Who do you guess will win?
Your answer will reflect your personality.
So think carefully . . . Try and answer within 30
seconds. Got your answer?
Now scroll down to see the analysis.
If your answer is:
Lion = you're dull.
Chimpanzee = you're dense.
Giraffe = you're a complete moron.
Squirrel = you're hopeless.
A COCONUT TREE DOESN'T HAVE BANANAS!!!!!!!

The Twilight Series
This is a 100% true
the Twilight series is the best series of books i have ever read.
First in the series- Twilight
"About three things i was absolutely positive.
First, Edward was a vampire.
Second, there was a part of-and i didn't how dominant that part might be- that thirsted for my blood.
And third, i was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him"
This is the story of Bella, a 17 year old girl who falls in love with a vampire.
Bella moves to a small town named Forks in the Olympic Peninsula in Washington to live with her dad where she meets Edward. He is dazzlingly handsome, extremely smart, has eyes that change colour, skin as cold as ice and chalky white, has amazing speed and strength and an uncanny knack for always being there to save her.
Words could not describe how perfectly amazing this book is.
Romance, action and suspense written the right way.
I have nothing more to say than it is perfect.
Rating:5 stars *****
New Moon
"Dazed and disoriented, I looked up from the bright red blood pulsing out of my arm—into the fevered eyes of the six suddenly ravenous vampires."
the sequel to twilight
just as thrilling as twilight but probably my least favourite book in the series because **spoiler alert** Edward leaves Bella to protect her...it broke my heart.
all through the middle of the book Bella is heartbroken then she starts to form a strong friendship with Jacob Black (much to my displeasure) the young guy from the local Indian quilette tribe. In Edwards absence Jacob falls in love with Bella.
i wont say what happens next otherwise ill spoil the book but let me say it is THRILLING
Rating: 3 and half stars
Eclipse
" 'BELLA' ?
Edward's soft voice came from behind me. I turned to see him spring lightly up the porch steps, his hair windblown from running. He pulled me into his arms at once, just like he had in the parking lot, and kissed me again.
This kiss frightened me. There was too much tension, too strong an edge to the way his lips crushed mine—like he was afraid we had only so much time left to us."
In Eclipse their is a return of Victoria, Bella and the Cullens' enemy from Twilight.she is determined to destroy Bella and Edward is determined to do anything to save her...
this is Bella and Edwards last year at high school and Edward has promised to turn her into a vampire after she graduates and if she'll marry him...
I've used thrilling a lot in what Ive written but that's what it is , thrilling!
i couldn't put it down i was hooked.
Rating 4 stars ****
Breaking Dawn
" 'don't be afraid' I murmured
'We belong together'
I was abruptly overwhelmed by the truth of my own words.this moment was so perfect, so right, there was no way to doubt it
his arm wrapped around me holding me against him...It felt like every nerve ending in my body was a live wire
'forever' he agreed"
the last book in the series , utterly compelling.
Whilst on their honeymoon something happens to change everything for Edward and Bella.Bella's life is in danger. An staring into the face of death only Bella can protect those she loves..
As perfect as perfect can get i never wanted it to end - except that the end was so perfect.
Rating" 5 stars *****

Am I Beeing Unfair.Or Is This Wrong?
6th Period Humanities....who new what surprises awaited me there?
On Tuesday i walked into humanities: bored, tired and past being at the school that day. i could almost hear the home-time bell ringing just 50 more minutes till school would end.
i didn't walk into room 9 expecting to be inspired not even mildly interesting in whatever my teacher had to see.
then i saw we were doing. WW1 history and i was genuinely excited. I wouldn't say world war history is my specialty or that im anything special in that area but it is something i really enjoy learning about an i have a deep respect for.
As i was riding on cloud nine happy with the prospect of enjoying humanities for the first time since the start of year 7 i was abruptly brought back to earth.
My Class,10b.
I realized at that moment that i wasn't going to enjoy this subject because my class had no idea.
half of them wouldn't even be able to point out the countries involved on a map! (bar Aus and the USA maybe)
how did this happen? when did people start not caring out WW history, being so callous?
i can understand and respect that not everyone enjoys history but i believe every Australian should have some appreciation what the men and boys did for our country! i was hurt, no i was angry that my class didn't care and knew hardly anything about past sacrifices!
now maybe this just me but i think people should have respect for this topic!!
perhaps its not their fault...maybe they have never really been taught...
i disagree.how many projects on ANZAC or remembrance day would the average year 10 student have done? answer: a heap!
BUT IT JUST DOESN'T SEEM TO SINK IN!!
perhaps im being unfair but that is something i really cant stand!
last year we did the holocaust and half my class hadn't even heard of hitler.
HOW DID THIS HAPPEN? i repeat.
sorry about my ranting and raving but it just GETS to me...i cant help it!
why doesn't anyone seem to care
argh its just so frustrating
Am I Being Unfair?
i apologize again but this is important to me and i think it should be important to others aswell!

My First Review
OK so I'M NOT the New York Times nor Entertainment Weekly nor am I Angus and Roberson but I AM and avid lover of books and i know what i like and which book i thought was super interesting and which others bored me to tears.
I recently read a book i really enjoyed - The Time Travelers Wife by Audrey Niffenegger and i really enjoyed it.
It was an amazingly interesting plot, full of mystery, fierce emotions and and many little intricacies.
The story revolves around Clare and Henry. now these guys meet when Clare is 6 and Henry is 36 but meet again when Clare is 20 and Henry is 28 and get married when Clare is 22 and Henry is 30....not possible you say? well it is because Henry is a time traveler(not the whole time travel machine like in back to the future)he has a rare genetic disease that drags him at random moments into random places in the future or past.
I personally love romance and am not afraid to say i probably am a hopeless romantic but this book was something else entirely! it wasn't you usual boy meets girl, or vice versa, they fall in love then something separates them then they realize they need each other.
it kept up all the amazing passion of a great romance but it wasn't overwhelming gooey or lovey dovey. That's what i loved, they loved each other in completely believable way, a way which you could almost think "hey that could be except for the time travel" but that realness didn't diminish or make their love seems less strong and true.
i think it's best attribute is that its just so ORIGINAL!
i definenitly recommend it
Rating- i think a 3 and a 1/2
hope you give it a read

Such Is Life
SUCH IS LIFE- words of wisdom,we cant always have complete control of our life.
Where is this leading you may ask?
OK,so i went to a funeral about a week and a half ago.The man whose funeral it was was a close family friend.he was a really nice person and was too young to die- a tragic accident.
at said funeral one of his relatives spoke.it started of as usual, loving memories, kind words and tears but then she said something to make me think, stop, take a look at me , my life and those around me.
her words of wisdom where these (as close i can remember anyway):
"by the end of the day i want everyone to hug a loved one and tell them you love them.
shake hands to a stranger."
(and one other which unfortunately i cant remember)
then she said something so powerful: (again as close as i can recall)
"life is short and so i want everyone to forgive all those people that they are unhappy with, forget your petty arguments and grievances, because ,after all, what is the point of it?"
and i so i thought about what she said.
i thought of all the people i was annoyed with over trivial things,so MANY people
and why what is the point who cares a bout a DVD or a seat in class IT DOESNT MATTER!
so now i am going to impart some words of wisdom of my own(maybe not so wise i'll let you judge for yourself):
please read and take in what i am about to write and what this lady at the funeral said.
I have friends who are fighting with other friends at the moment over something i personally do not think is more important than the friendship they have.i want to them to think what would they would do if they lost that person without ever having made up.it would be awful.
so please who ever reads this blog:
1.give a hug to a loved one and tell them you love them
2.meet someone new, help a stranger, or get to know someone you dont know well a little better
3.send a message, talk or call someone you havent seen in a while
and finally (heres the biggie)
4.forgive someone you love(or possibly someone you dont love)for something trivial unimportant becuase yo might lose them
once you have completed these i guarantee you will feel better

The First Chapter
I first decided to make a blog today during first period science. My friend Alice had confided that she had began to document her life online, by blogging. It sounded like a great idea! To be able to capture both our lives in words.....
So my name is Isabella Eyre, but all my friends call me Bella. I go to a little school in Southwest Victoria and live in a little town where the most interesting thing has happened in a long time is when lightening struck the tree that had the Tarzan rope tied to it at our local watering hole and knocked it over so we couldn't use it anymore.
I have AMAZING friends: Alice Eamon(my motivation and inspiration for my blog), Millie Howlett, Casey McKinnon and Lee Kruger. These guys are my closest mates, Millie has been with me since Kinda and Anna, Casey and Lee have been with me since year 7, the start of High School.
I don't have a boyfriend at the moment, although Ally,Casey and Millie all do, i wouldn't say there was a huge choice of guys in country Victoria...
We are a mixed bunch of people, with huge personalities, all with one thing in common-being the best of mates. We have all been through so much together.
My Mum is Val and my Dad is Lance, i have two brothers Lucas and Chris and two dogs Jazzie and Cobee.
Horseriding is my hobbie and passion and i have two horses Prince and Lilly.
I enjoy school and love my french class with Ms Cecil, Careers with Mr Cyprus, and English with Ms Bennet and I am currently in Year 10.
Not much happens in the little inconsequential that i call home and this is my life so far.
The rest? we all shall see, wait and see what happens...
