I was at school today and i was just chilling and all i could hear was people calling out to others using their Aussie nicknames lol.
I reckon everyone has a nick name in Australia lol.
A boy always is called their last names with and "e" sound or an "o" sound. and if their name has an R in it they become "azza" on the end.
Charlie Smith becomes Chazza Smithie/Smitho.
its great i love it. Bella doesn't work that's why I'm Bee but Eyre become Eyrey.
that is definitely one of my favorite Aussie cultural things.

I love Australia! The people are awesome (the Aussies I met when I was travelling in Europe were so friendly and huge partyers). The country is gorgeous, the people are friendly, the accents make me melt,lots of great bands, lots of beaches...how could I NOT want to visit??
