Okay, what's a Milo?
ReplyDeleteYou're very well-versed for someone your age Bee. Are you a big Shakespeare fan too?
Gotta love the hot water bottles. :) How are you feeling now?
B
No way!!! how can you not know what a Milo is??????
ReplyDeleteoh actually maybe you can only get it in Aus.
well its kinda hard to explain.
Its like chocolate powder stuff that you put with milk, hot or cold.the only thing is that its not really powder.there isnt really anything to comare it with. It is made from malted barley. Its really really good.you'll just have to try it coz it cant really be described :D
yeah i love shakespeare. i love the Baz lurhman version of Romeo and Juliet.
mm hot water bottles are the best.yeah feeling much better, just got a cough and blocked ear.no sore throat!
google milo it might explain it better
ReplyDeleteOkay Bee (it feels funny calling you that because a lot of people call me B). Anyway, I checked it out on Wikipedia. I've never seen it in Canada. Here's a bit of what they said...
ReplyDelete"Another possible use is making a normal cup of cold Milo and microwaving it for approximately 40–60 seconds. This gives the Milo drink a biscuity cover on top."
Did you know that??
Here's more...
"Also very popular is the "Magic Milo" which involves adding Milo to a small amount of milk with sugar and whipping it to increase the amount of air in the milk, thereby doubling it in size. Then one adds small amounts of hot water and milk in layers stirring each new layer vigorously to maintain its lightness. A final layer of whipped cream topped with extra Milo or chocolate sprinkles. This is more of a 'warm' beverage rather than a 'hot' one..."
I love the differences between different countries because it gives me a chance to learn about yours. Do you have any questions about Canada?
B
Do alot of people speak French too?
ReplyDeleteQuebec is a French-speaking province (a lot of people there also speak English). There's a fair amount of 'rivalry' between Quebec and the rest of Canada as they have wanted to separate from the rest of the country on more than one occasion.
ReplyDeleteBut yes lots of people across Canada also speak French, mostly in Ontario where I live.
