Australia

I'm not gonna go on raving today but i just want to say a little something about this amazing land....
Today really re-ignited the flame i have for Aus.My ride really made me appreciate just how lucky i am to be Australian.
Every thing was so beautiful. The sight was great but then there is just this smell that is so nice it is pretty much indescribable. Then the sounds. It was so quiet that i could ,no joke, hear the kangaroos jumping next to where i was riding.
I think being overseas just made me appreciate even more where i live.
argh its just too hard to describe!
If i hadn't seem Australia in winter then I'd say summer was the most beautiful thing ever but there is something about the winter that brings out the ruggedness and colour of where i live. It just takes my breath away,truly.
I just love this place i can't say it strongly enough!

Aaargh!!! We were talking at work today about where we'd go first if we had the money. I answered "Australia" before she barely finished the question.

I've wanted to go to your country since I took Oceanography in Grade 4 and learned about the Great Barrier reef(yeah, pretty serious subject for someone so young eh!)

I won't say how many years ago it was Bella, but it's certainly longer than you've been alive!

Yeah it is kinda strange to think of having followers. I like the way you and Anna look at is as your 'motivation'. I'm going to steal that idea 'cause I prefer to look at it that way too!

Bella, I have an idea for you. I know I've said it before but I've noticed a TON of similarities between you and Annalisa.

I think it would be interesting if you listed the things that you both have in common, and she did the same thing. It would be interesting to compare.

What do you think? I'm going to suggest it to Anna too.

yeah i like that.... i think you'd have to be in the mood for reading though lol it'll be a long list haha!
mmmmm i went to the G.B.R. not long ago, ive been a few times but it never ceases to amaze me.
the best thing though about traveling in Oz is that often the least likely places are the most beautiful.
I have compiled a list of 20 things that are a must do/see in Oz (perhaps a goal to work to?)
1.Great barrier reef, QLD (of course)
2. Ningaloo reef, W.A (coral not as spectacular but the marines is incredible)
3.just the desert in general
4. the Shipwreck Coast, Vic (near where I'm from)
5. Tres important.Watch an Australian football mach (I suggest watching Essendon as they are legends, my team lol)
6. see he Sydney Opera House + Bridge
7.Go proper bush walking in Qld rain forests or the Vic bushland
8. go canoeing on the Glenelg River
9. visit Caniver (not sure of spelling) in QLD best fruit there!!!
10. Margaret River in W.A. hey have the best chocolate,cheese and wine makers in Oz
11. Coonawara S.A. a wine district near where i am from
12.look at the sky at night. Beautiful stars and you can see the Southern Cross which isn't visible in the Nthrn Hemisphere
13.just generally cruise around the cities, they are really amazing!
14. Lygon St in Melbourne is an Italian street with the most amazing Italian food... Love the gelatis!!
15.I love the National War Memorial in Canberra
16. he Art Galleries in Melbourne are great
17. go to Bunderberg and try the famous Ginger beer and the famous Rum.
18.Try Vegemite, Lamingtons and Pavlova yuuuummmm
19.Take some surfing lessons lol
20 finally go somewhere i haven't so you can tell me all about it!

Wow Bella, thanks for the list! It sounds like you'd make an amazing tour guide, have you ever thought of going into the travel industry??

yeah for my work experience i have put in an application for Lonely Planet that writes the travel guide books so yeah hopefully ill get accepted
